Farren has always had a passion for pets.  Her love of poodles goes back as far as her childhood.  Her dream of raising, showing, competing with poodles was realized in 2019 with her first standard poodle, Magda.  When Farren's passion became her profession in 2009, she launched Board and Behave, her dog board and training kennel.

She been working with dogs professionally since 2009.  She holds credentials as a Behavior Specialist with an emphasis in Animal Behavior.  She is internationally certified as a Behavior Specialist.  She is also certified through the AKC.

Farren has a heart for giving back to the community.  For the local animal shelter, Animal Friends of the Valley, Farren revamped and implemented the most successful Humane Education Program which continues to be successfully used today, as well as consulting, collaborating, and giving back to local service dog organizations.

Poodles hold a special place in her heart as her own dog is also her therapy dog.   Farren breeds dogs in order to build a healthier dog with a sweet temperament that's highly trainable.  Dogs that are made to be companion pets, working service dogs, and show/sports prospects.

She understands the importance of placing puppies in the right homes to meet the need of everyone involved.
